The Iowa Substance Abuse Information Center (ISAIC) and the ISAIC Clearinghouse are located in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  Both buildings have been damaged by the recent floodwaters.  At present, our 24 hour help line is operational. We will post services here as they become available. Watch this page for updates on our progress.

• The ISAIC lending library is located on the second floor of the Cedar Rapids Public Library. The main floor of the library flooded, and all ISAIC materials on the second floor have been affected by the humidity.
• Returning materials: items can be sent back by a shipper, such as UPS, using our regular return labels (addressed to ISAIC, 500 1st Street SE). You may also keep the items longer if you have use for them. All fines and fees for overdue materials are waived until further notice.
• ISAIC online services, such as job postings and the agency directory, are on servers located in the library building, and are not operational at this time.
• The ISAIC online stores and Clearinghouse materials and services: the Clearinghouse building flooded and it will be several months before we can ship any printed materials.
• ISAIC Helpline: ISAIC is now answering Help Line calls during the day and is able to provide information and referrals. Foundation 2 answers Help Line calls during the evening and weekends.
